FOLEY CATHETER

The Foley Catheter is a flexible, sterile indwelling urinary catheter commonly used for short- or long-term bladder drainage in hospitals, surgical procedures, or for patients with urinary retention. Its closed drainage system helps prevent infection and ensures patient comfort during extended use.

Key Features:
  • Indwelling Double-Lumen Tube: One lumen for urine drainage, one for balloon inflation to hold the catheter securely in the bladder.
  • Soft, Medical-Grade Material: Made from silicone, latex, or silicone-coated latex to maximize comfort and minimize irritation.
  • Sterile and Disposable: Individually packed, sterile, and designed for single-patient use to prevent infection.
  • Integrated Balloon: Balloon (usually 5–30 ml) inflated with sterile water to keep the catheter in place.
  • Universal Connector: Color-coded hub for secure attachment to urine drainage bags or uro meters.
  • Multiple Sizes: Available in various Fr sizes (6 Fr–24 Fr); pediatric, standard, and specialty configurations.
  • Open, Closed, or Couvelaire Tips: Available in specialty models to suit clinical needs.
